Childcare is FAMILY!
Mary Queen, operating in childcare for 4 years, provides a safe learning environment for children. Her program is structured to enrich their lives.
She chose to work in family childcare because she remembers how hard it was her her to find quality childcare as a single parent. Queen feels a family childcare program is more personal that bigger sites because there are fewer children.
“All my children become family,” she said. “I’m a. Very caring and nurturing individual and I offer extra resources and support to my families.”
Shelia Williams has worked in childcare for 12 years now. She loves children and enjoys working with them, which is why she originally chose to go into family childcare as a business. It’s the best job ever!
“I love watching them grow while making sure I educate them to the fullest,” she said. “Childcare involves love and laughter, caring and a few tears. It brings me joy.”
“It’s a blessing to have parents bring their children into my childcare and trust me to handle their precious cargo,” Williams shared. “It’s a privilege and honor. It’s LOVE.”
